Clair De Lune

Claude Debussy was hesitant to publish his Suite bergamasque, written around 1890 during the early part of his musical career. Encouraged by an offer from a publisher, Debussy revised the suite and it was published in 1905. The quiet beauty of the well-known “Clair de lune”, the third movement from this suite for piano, sounds extraordinary on the harp.
