What is tradition? Perhaps it’s just someTHING started someWHERE by someONE. Nobody objected, so it just rolled along through the years. In music, for example, people liked what they heard (or thought they did), and so the composers and arrangers usually accepted the easy way. That is, they stuck with the same old “traditional” way of arranging those same old “traditional” pieces of music. And, so it continued on ad infinitum, UNTIL a brave and adventurous soul came along with the courage to try something new; an extra harmony note, a change in rhythm, etc. We believe it’s a tribute to those who came before us to observe and enjoy the same good old Christmas songs. But, let’s try improving them a bit. Bring some of the old harmonies and rhythms up to date and still retain those strong and always enjoyable . . . GOOD OLD . . . TRADITIONAL melodies!!!  ~Chuck & Susie
